Timberlink Redwood treated fence posts 125mm x 125mm (5” x 5”). Timberlink only sells sawn Redwood posts as this is the top quality timber type for fencing due to its natural inherent cell structure as it treats very well and lasts the longest when treated to Use Class 4. Redwood posts are therefore a premium and hence a more expensive post than whitewood posts which make up the bulk of the market and this difference should be borne in mind when comparing prices and planning your project.

The 125mm x 125mm fence post is ideal for use for gate posts. Fence posts are normally put 600mm (2’) in the ground. If they are to be concreted in please make sure that concrete only is placed round the sides and not under the bottom of the post to allow rain and moisture build up to escape.
