Sawn & Rustic Sleepers

We stock a range of sleepers treated in both green and brown. Sleepers come in two sizes:
200 x 100mm (8" x 4") and the heavier 250 x 125mm (10" x 5"). We also sell oak and rustic sleepers. Rustic sleepers (old railway sleepers) were originally soaked in creosote for longevity. These are not suitable for domestic use as the creosote can leach out and is harmful to the skin as well as being flammable.

The table opposite shows standard sizes stocked in green, brown, or rustic. Other sizes can be ordered on request and we offer a cutting service for specific lengths and sections.
