March 05 Road Entrance & Parking: Our aim is to improve Health and Safety in the yard by keeping 1) all customers away from HGV movements 2) all
parking and traffic away from the area immediately in front of the office 3) all HGVs on a one way circuit so that they do not reverse
To achieve this, we are making better defined routes onto the site and improving vehicle
parking arrangements. Since December we have been concreting the entrance area by the weighbridge. The new concrete road swings left just before the end of the weighbridge, and is intended to start customer traffic aiming in a straight line
for the public car park.
We also plan to put: a) a zebra crossing in front of the office right across to the first row, b) a disabled parking space in a bay outside Ro’s office window, c) a designated
walkway from the car park to the office beside the Ply Shed d) checkout parking bays for you to park in when loaded next to the walkway.
When HGVs come through our gates, they will be sent right-handed past the
sand and gravel bunkers onto our extension land. As you leave the site from the office, HGVs will chiefly be coming from your left onto the weighbridge.
Please be aware that that on all roads there may well be TWO WAY
TRAFFIC coming in the opposite direction to you and that we have installed two more speed ramps! January 05 We now stock a high quality Scandinavian C16 graded timber for structural work. Most C16 is stored by other merchants in the open under sheets. We
have constructed purpose-built lean-tos behind the bunkers to maintain the quality of this kiln dried timber. It is also available pressure treated. NEW LINE - Finnforrest Log Cabins by Finnlife -

the site and the remainder of the area is cleared, ready for surfacing. 14
May 2004 We are
pleased to announce that North Shropshire District Council have recently
approved planning consent for a 7 acre extension to our site. Work to develop
the area has commenced. We
are one of the largest retailers of external treated timber in the Midlands and
hope to significantly extend our range once the new land is fully developed. We will be launching a newsletter soon. To
