Field & Ranch Gates
Timberlink stocks a vast range, which are used both for driveway gates as well as field gates. We carry every Field Gate size from 3ft-15ft (imperial size) in both Left and Right hand hung gates.
Unique features of our gates..
• Six bar (better for keeping small dogs and lambs in) as
opposed to the more normal five bar
• Heavy duty bottom rail as well as top rail
• Planed as standard
Construction
Hand made with mortice and tenon joints and cross braced for strength,
Timberlink field gates are made from imported softwood, they are pressure
treated with Wolmanit CX8-WB after making. The rail spacings and sections are as
follows:
Gate posts & gate fittings
We carry a large range of sawn timber gate posts.
Gate posts are normally 2.4m (7’11”) long – the section depends on the length of gate
and the following are typical sizes:
• 150 x 150mm - 3-6ft
• 175 x 175mm - 7-9ft
• 200 x 200mm - 10ft+

Hanging your gate
To decide which way your gate hangs, check whether it hangs on the Left or
the Right side as you face from the public road.
