Roundwood Fence Posts
Our range
Timberlink stocks a wide range of roundwood posts suitable for a variety of fencing purposes. Traditional / cundey roundwood posts are rough peeled, suited to more rustic settings such as farm and field fencing. For a more aesthetically pleasing finish our machined roundwood posts can be used which give a smooth and much nicer finish
Our roundwood posts can be treated either green or brown using Wolmanit®CX8-WB.
Tip:
To calculate the number of posts and rails required for ‘post & rail’ fencing, follow the guides below:
Posts - divide the length by 6' (1.83m) & add one for the other end : eg 120' (36.6m) = 120 / 6 = 20 + 1 = 21 posts required (36.6 / 1.83 = 20 +1 = 21).
Rails - divide the length by 12’(3.66m) and multiply by the number of rails high: eg 120’ (36.6m) with 3 rails high = 120 / 12 = 10 x 3 = 30 rails (36.6 / 3.66 = 10 x 3 = 30).
